ARGENTA,IL—
Since its release
in 2010, the Urn Carrier has
become a frequently requested
item from the line of furniture
offered by
Roberts & Downey
Chapel Equipment.
Owner
Rick Roberts
is excited to an-
nounce that beginning on June
1st he will have in stock for im-
mediate shipment one unit on
the first of each month.
The in stock unit will be avail-
able in the Queen Anne design
with Cherry Wood and Dark
Mahogany S-10 stain color and
will include the ever popular
Large Baby Bier/Cremation Al-
tar, offering multipurpose func-
tionality. “If during the crema-
tion funeral service even one
future client can be convinced
that even if they choose crema-
tion, they can still have a formal
funeral service, our customers
can start to be more successful
and profitable from cremation
services,” said Roberts.
The Urn Carrier allows the
use of the hearse and fami-
ly car instead of hand carrying
the urn into church, creating
new revenue streams from cre-
mation services. The bier base
with the altar top removed can
accommodate a youth casket
from 30” to 60”. The height
of the bier base is designed to
bring the child to a more ap-
propriate viewing height. With
the open altar top installed, the
unit will provide a table area of
20” x 40”. This open altar can
be used for newborn or still-
born caskets, displaying today’s
ever growing memorialization
collages (with the ability to roll
the unit right up near the cas-
ket) and even an altar for Ma-
sonic Rites.
Roberts & Downey provides
a piece of plywood painted
black, on which the Urn Car-
rier is placed to be slid into the
hearse. This plywood is slightly
larger than the outside dimen-
sions of the handles. Thus the
finished urn carrier will never
touch the metal bier pins in the
hearse, protecting the Urn Car-
rier from damage. At the cem-
etery, the Urn Carrier will sit
atop the church truck for the
committal service.
For customers who al-
ready own the Large Baby
Bier/Cremation Altar, the
Urn Carrier may be pur-
chased separately. The com-
plete unit can be viewed at

American Mortuary Coolers introduces New Walk-Ins
Model #1014-CF
Model #3x3-S
EAST TENNESSEE,TN—
American
Mortuary Coolers
has introduced
2 new walk-in units.
T. R. Ward,
owner, says “We are seeing an in-
creased demand in long term stor-
age of the deceased. Some national
cemeteries have a 4-5 month wait
before burial. For long term stor-
age, a frozen environment is much
better.” The AMC Model #1014-CF
has an overall footprint of 14’ 0”w x
10’ 0”d x 7’ 9 ½” h. Both the cooler
and freezer unit are 100 percent self-
contained, making this a quick in-
stall process while saving thousands
in installation expenses. This is a
Level 2 Install and takes 3-4 hours
to complete, while using basic tools
to complete.
AMC has also added a roll-in style
cooler, AMC Model #3x3-S, to com-
plement the current line of two and
three body capacity units. The 3x3
has an increased capacity of 6 bod-
ies when using 3 tier racks. The over-
sized 42” wide compartment allows
for a cot, dressing table, or embalm-
ing table to be rolled directly in. This
unit plugs directly into 110V, no spe-
cial wiring or plumbing is needed.
This is a Level 1 Install and takes 2-3
hours to have it up and running.

els, please call 1-888-792-9315 or

COLUMBUS,OH—
Funeral Vision,
a first-of-its kind app
for iOS, is offering exclusive demos to qualified funeral
homes in the United States. The app will be free to down-
load for attendees, which will allow friends and family of
the deceased to be a part of the service, regardless of dis-
tance or circumstance.
Funeral Vision aims to provide a simple platform to keep
the details organized. Once the mourners learn the date,
time of the service, and the location they can view a live
stream of the service via the app, in the event of being unable
to attend. The viewer will be able to make donations, leave
their condolences, and even send flowers to the family.
“It occurred to me that with the technology we possess,
circumstance or time should never be an obstacle when it
comes time to pay respects to someone you admire. God
revealed a need to me and gave me the means to help create
a solution,” says
Todd Morrow,
creator of Funeral Vision.
Funeral Vision is a practical way of harnessing mo-
bile technology to ensure that funeral proceedings run
smoothly. The funeral home simply sets up the equip-
ment provided by Funeral Vision, inputs a few pieces of
information into the easy to use interface to keep it se-
cure, and presses record. The attendee then inputs the
distinct information into the app which selects the ser-
vice and is immediately tuned in.
“Death is never easy or convenient. With Funeral Vi-
sion, distance, time, health, or other circumstances will
no longer be an obstacle,” says Morrow.
