ABILENE,TX—

pany
(FDLIC), is proud to announce the addition of
Hillary Madeline
as Director of Sales Development
(DSD) for Western Pennsylvania.
“Hillary’s experience as a funeral director and advance
planning specialist gives her valuable insight into the needs
of her clients,” said
Kris Seale,
Funeral Directors Life presi-
dent and CEO. “Her compassion and dedication to the pro-
fession will be of great benefit to funeral directors and the
families they serve.”
With nearly 20 years of ex-
perience in the funeral pro-
fession Hillary is a licensed

balmer and holds state in-
surance licenses in Ohio and
Pennsylvania. For the last six
years, Hillary has worked
with Funeral Directors Life
as an employed sales profes-
sional in Ohio.
“We have been blessed to
have Hillary on our team.
She became an integral part
of the funeral homes she was
working for and her dedication to the profession is exempla-
ry,” said
Shaun Gaffney,
regional sales vice president. “As a
Director of Sales Development, she will be able to help many
funeral home clients grow and succeed through her unique
experiences and insights gained over the last two decades.”
“My primary goal is to be a valuable asset to my clients by

Coating System
American Coach unveils
New Website
Pictured with the new powder coating system is Covington
Casket vice president Alan Williamson and PPG national sales
manager and current CFSA president Jerry Burchett.
ANDALUSIA,AL—
February 21st marked a historic day at
Covington Casket Company
. “Today was the proudest day
I’ve ever experienced at Covington Casket Company since I
started to work here in 1986,” stated
AlanWilliamson
who
serves as vice president of his family owned company.
Williamson is referring to the company’s new powder coat-
ing system that occupies part of an existing 8,000 square
foot building. “Our business continues to grow. This is a tes-
tament to what can be achieved with a team of focused and
dedicated individuals throughout the company.” The com-
pany has plenty of room to do what needs to be done on the
casket end but will also look into the future to expand its
services by opening the doors to the ever increasing need of
powder coating for the public and possibly the military.
“We are fortunate to be just over an hour drive to three
military bases. We are the only powder coating facility
within 75 miles of Andalusia. With a system as large as
we have the sky’s the limit.” Williamson states that the
company will still produce the custom caskets for which
they are known for but this new system will increase pro-
ductivity greatly. “We’ve been running our custom units
on the same line as our standard units since I’ve been
here. That just kills our production. With our new pow-
der coating system we can run six caskets thru every fif-
teen minutes and free up our custom line. We will be able
to increase productivity and efficiency.”
Family owned since 1924, Covington Casket Com-
pany is located in Andalusia, AL with warehouses in
Jackson, MS; Hammond, LA; and Albany, GA. Visit

LAKEWOOD,OH—
Funer-
al directors know firsthand
that business doesn’t sleep.
Whether it’s a death call,
meeting with families, or
working back-to-back ser-
vices, it’s important for di-
rectors to always be on the
ball during an important
time of need. With this be-
ing said, why shouldn’t their
suppliers?
American Coach Sales
took a step in that direction
with the complete redesign
of their website. The new
interactive site allows cus-
tomers to view the up-to-
date inventory and inquire
about vehicle pricing right
through their phone or de-
vice. Hitting the “Contact
Us” button will allow cus-
tomers to fill out an inqui-
ry form that will be sent di-
rectly to their email system.
From there,
Jay Mazzarella,
a third generation employee
of the family business, will
promptly respond and as-
sist in getting the custom-
er aligned with the prop-
er vehicle. A response will
be submitted whether it’s a
weekday or a weekend.
Technology keeps us more
connected than we have ever
been. This has greatly affect-
ed how business is done, in-
cluding the funeral industry.
American Coach Sales wants
to let funeral directors know
that even with the speed in
which business now moves,
that the customer service
and high quality vehicles that
have become the cornerstone
of their company, will not
change. They have countless
satisfied customers who have
become clients for life. Their
customer testimonial sec-
tion on their new site shows
a handful of these customers
from all around the United
States. Their goal is to pro-
vide clientele with a purchas-
ing or leasing experience that
allows them to maximize
their market potential.
