Preliminary

data indicates the 140th

State Convention of

Tex-

as Funeral Directors As-

sociation

enrolled slightly

over 900 participants, in-

cluding members and ex-

hibitors.

With a format shortened

to three days, including

one full day of attention to

exhibits, this year’s meeting

was held in Austin, known

for its numerous live mu-

sic venues, amazing restau-

rants and family--friendly

destinations.

exhibitors alike was posi-

tive about the new format

as well as the convention’s

goal of concentrating op-

portunities for old and

new members to meet-

and-greet.

ly have been involved in

the annual Service of Re-

membrance for more than

a decade.

bering during the conven-

tion when directors and

was passed at the gala to
