NYSFDA Leadership Academy Graduates

The New
York State Funeral Di-
rectors Association, Inc.
(NYSFDA) has graduat-
ed the inaugural class for
their 11-month Leader-
ship Academy. The edu-
cation program was de-
signed to identify New
York State licensed fu-
neral directors of excel-
lence who have the po-
tential to become leaders
in local, state, and na-
tional funeral director as-
sociations.
The Academy addresses
pressing issues facing fu-
neral directors and busi-
ness professionals alike.
The funeral profession-
als completed leadership
development workshops
in Albany, NY; partici-
pated in monthly web-
based training programs;
completed a group cap-
stone project; and pre-
sented their research
findings to their peers
at the NYSFDA Annual
Convention held August.
