Thacker acquires Edison Casket

CLINTON,MD—

Thacker Caskets

is ex-

cited to announce that they have com-

pleted an acquisition with

Edison Cas-

ket Company,

December 19 , 2016 in

Edison, NJ. This marks Thacker Cas-

ket’s fifth acquisition in their pursuit of

remaining the largest family owned and

operated casket company.

“The

Kulesza

family has held an ad-

mirable reputation of dedication and

customer care within the industry,

we’re honored to have been consid-

ered to carry on their history,” said

CJ

Thacker,

Thacker’s president.

The Kulesza family, fourth-genera-

tion owners of Edison Casket Co have

been proudly serving funeral homes in

the New Jersey and New York market-

place for over 60 years. Edison’s deci-

sion to sell their longstanding company

was due to the next generation of fami-

ly succession in agreeance to pursue ca-

reers outside the funeral industry.

“It was imperative we see that our leg-

acy be carried on through a privately-

owned family business, such as Thack-

er,” said

Lee Kulesza,

president of

Edison Casket Co.

Sharing the same values, philosophies

and customer care insights, the Kulesza

family believes that Thacker Caskets is

best aligned to provide funeral homes

with multiple solutions for today’s in-

dustry challenges.

“From iArrange which allows funeral

homes to customize digital showrooms,

and our Remembrance Line merchan-

dising program, which features a com-

prehensive line of cremation products,

to providing consultative and custom

marketing programs, we are constant-

ly striving to provide funeral homes

with the most innovative services in the

market,” Thacker noted.

Since 1939 Thacker has been commit-

ted to providing funeral homes with high-

quality products at impeccable value and

remains dedicated to ensuring the same

service of excellence, Edison’s customers

expect. For more information on Thacker
