Karissa Madison - Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home, Dallas, TX

  Karissa Madison worked alongside her father, Allen G. Madison as a second generation funeral director at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home where she currently serves as staff manager. She graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Services with an Associate Degree in Applied Science and is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association.

Linda H. Mitchell - Black and Clark Funeral Home, Dallas,TX

  Linda H. Mitchell has worked for more than 20 years in the insurance industry, owning and operating a funeral, burial and life insurance agency. With the help of Otis Clark, she was allowed to operate her agency out of the offices of Black and Clark Funeral Home. After the passing of Otis, Mitchell secured a loan through Aleritas to purchase the funeral home and also initiated remodeling and beautification projects to ensure the facility stayed current with local area funeral homes.

Terry Kathryn Locke Parrish - Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, Dallas, TX

  Terry Kathryn Locke Parrish received an Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Service from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. Upon Graduation, she began working for the college as the registrar/director of admissions, and has served as the Veterans official and the bursar for 15 years. Parrish also worked at several funeral homes in the Dallas Metroplex area as a licensed funeral director and embalmer and has been a member of the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, 100 Black Women of Funeral Service Inc, Dallas County Funeral Directors Association, Texas Funeral Directors Association and the North Texas Funeral Directors Association.
