Carolyn Beckwith Haynes

Golden Gate Funeral Home–Dallas, TX

Carolyn Beckwith Haynes is an important part of the great legacy of John E. Beckwith Sr., and the late Allene Zackery Beckwith. Having 20 years of work experience in various capacities, Carolyn began slowly booking work for her mother and recalls being put on hold for one hour.  Knowing that was not good business practice, she decided her mother needed help. After careful consideration, she decided to join the family business at Golden Gate Funeral Home, where she currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer alongside her husband, Kevin Haynes.

Carolyn is a licensed funeral director and mentor to several apprentices in the firm. She serves on the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service board.

She was awarded the prestigious Pearl C. Anderson Woman of the Year Award. Carolyn is the co-host of “Ask the Understaker Show,” a television and radio show that airs weekly on UAN-Channel 472, UPN Channel 21 and Heaven 97 Radio KHVNAM.com. Through this programming the staff of Golden Gate Funeral Home can inform the public about funeral services, the importance of insurance as well as pre-need planning and wills.
