The group joined together for two days of discussions over industry con- cerns that collectively and geographical- ly could be opportunities to further ad- vance this multi-state partnership. Several key matters examined during the meeting were; cross-state sharing of association services, legislative continu- ity in individual state rules and regula- tions, the delivery of regional seminars, education and training of interns, work- force retention, reciprocity and profes- sional development. Following the success of this inaugu- ral gathering, the group, now named the Northeast Funeral Service Part- nership, is planning future meetings for 2019.
