Trimble Pointe CityView
MOLINE,IL—
Behrens Design
& Development
is proud to an-
nounce the completion and open-
ing of
Trimble Pointe
, a multi-
faceted development in downtown
Moline. Trimble Pointe will be
home to
Trimble Funeral Home
and Crematory
,
Worry Free Cre-
mation Care
,
Veterans Funeral
Care
,
Trimble Funeral Planning
,
and
CityView Celebrations
, a re-
ception and celebration center.
The anchor of the development
will be the new Trimble Funer-
al and Cremation Center. Trimble
was forced to move from its pre-
vious location in downtown Mo-
line because of the new bridge con-
struction, and is now located at 701
12th Street, overlooking the down-
town area and Mississippi River.
The new funeral home has mul-
tiple and adaptable visitation areas
to comfortably accommodate the
largest services or the most inti-
mate gatherings, and also features
many enhancements to serve the
varying needs of client families,
including a café serving refresh-
ments to funeral guests, an on-site
crematory, state of the art digital
screens and equipment for memo-
rial tributes, a consumer-friend-
ly virtual casket selection room, a
welcoming and inviting children’s
area, and an outdoor deck patio.
Eric Trimble
, president of the
family owned firm, said the new
building incorporates many func-
tions under one roof that will re-
define the experience for Trimble
client families. CityView at Trim-
ble Pointe, a fully licensed recep-
tion center with a panoramic view
of downtown Moline and the river,
is located on the north side of the
complex. This facility has a separate
entrance and parking and features
Trimble’s innovative approach to fu-
neral service offering families and
their guests an on-site upscale ven-
ue for funeral luncheons and hos-
pitality visitations, and is also avail-
able to the community for meetings
and celebrations. The features of the
new building allow Trimble to ca-
ter to the changing wishes and de-
mands of the community, and to of-
fer unparalleled options for funeral
and memorial services.
Reid Trimble
, Eric’s son and
business partner, stated “Ninety
years ago, our present building was
one of the very earliest examples of
the new ‘funeral home’ concept in
the Midwest, an innovation over
the store-front mortuary buildings
prior to that time. We are excit-
ed to again provide the communi-
ty with innovative, contemporary,
unparalleled options for all of their
memorial needs.” The building’s
unique exterior design was care-
fully created by Behrens Design’s
architectural services. The interi-
or design was expertly created by
Paragon Interiors
of Davenport,
IA. The new facility features many
progressive new ideas and features
which create a remarkable and one
of a kind facility.
