conferred her Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Business
Administration.
Special Awards were also
presented at the com-
mencement.
The Memo-
rial Award
was present-
ed to
Angela Pinke
who
was chosen by her class-
mates as the student who,
through qualities of leader-
ship, professional conduct
and good citizenship, best
typifies the ideals of the
student body.
The John Re-
bol Award
was presented to
Ashley Baldauf-Kreil
who
had maintained the highest
scholastic average for the
school year 2013-2014.
The William J. Musmanno
Memorial Award
was pre-
sented to
Ryan Newhart
in recognition of his out-
standing ability, attitude,
commitment and achieve-
ment in the clinical setting.
The Pierce Chemical/Royal
Bond Award
was presented
to
Beth Ziance
in recog-
nition of her outstanding
ability, commitment, atti-
tude and achievement in
the areas of restorative art
and cosmetology.
Michael
Kuruc,
representative
from the
Pierce Chemi-
cal Company
made this
award available and was on
hand to present Beth with
a plaque.
Ten percent of the grad-
uates received the
Mu Sig-
ma Alpha Award
which is
the honorary society es-
tablished by the
Nation-
al Association of Colleges of
Mortuary Science
and gives
recognition to those stu-
dents who have displayed
outstanding merit in schol-
arship and who have con-
ducted themselves as good
citizens of the schools they
attended. The recipients
of the Mu Sigma Alpha
Award are:

The Robert J. Inman
Award
was presented to
Jonathan Pugh
and
Mel-
anie Justice
who in the
opinion of the faculty and
staff best exemplifies pro-
fessionalism, respect, dil-
igent care and dignity in
the classroom, laboratory
classes, and the prepara-
tion room. The award was
established by the
Ohio
Embalmers Association
to
recognize
Robert J. In-
man
for his outstanding
achievements in the better-
ment of funeral service na-
tionally and international-
ly.
At the conclusion of the
ceremony, student senate
president Shaiyla Hakeem
gave her closing farewell
remarks and classmate An-
gela Pinke lead the con-
gregation in the tradition-
al singing of America the
Beautiful.
