DEAN SR of Beloit, OH died February 8, 2019 at the age of 74. He was the owner, operator and director of Dean’s Livery Service and Dean’s Fu- neral Home in Sebring for 27 years. A 1989 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortu- ary Science , he was a member of Ohio Funeral Directors Associa- tion and the Mount Union Cem- etery Association. CLYDIE EDWARD EVANS SR of Houston, MO died Janu- ary 19, 2019 at the age of 87. A licensed funeral director, he owned and operated Ev- ans Funeral Home alongside his wife, Jean, for 46 years. They sold the business in 2005. CARL WAYNE GRAVES of Bowling Green, KY, formerly of Scottsville, KY died January 19, 2019 at the age of 84. He was a licensed funeral director and embalmer for Gerard and Bradley Funeral Home. RONALD REX HOSTETTLER of Uhrichsville, OH died January 14, 2019 at the age of 82. A li- censed funeral director for over 50 years, he owned and operated the Uhrich-Hostettler Funeral Home, Inc, retiring in 2003. A graduate of the Cincinnati School of Embalming, he was a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors As- sociation and the Tri-County Fu- neral Directors Association. RONNIE L. JONES of Brunswick, GA died January 21, 2019 at the age of 66. He owned and operated R. L. Jones and Sons Funeral Home since 2002. ALAN J. KROBOTH of Roselle, NJ died January 24, 2019 at the age of 71. He was vice president of oper- ations for Rosedale/Rosehill Cemeteries in Linden, NJ for over 40 years. WILLIAM J. LENNON of Manchester, CT died Feb- ruary 10, 2019 at the age of 96. He worked with local fu- neral homes as a licensed fu- neral director and served as manager of Watkins Funeral Home. MAE CAROL NIEWOEHNER of Upham, ND died Decem- ber 9, 2018 at the age of 85. She worked alongside her husband, Henry Weyburn Niewoehner, in owning and operating the Niewoehner Funeral Home in Rolla, which they established in 1960. They retired in 2002 after 42 years of service. PETER ANDREW “PETE” ZACHERL of Fond Du Lac, WI died January 21, 2019 at the age of 55. A fifth genera- tion funeral director, he was the owner and operator of Zacherl Funeral Home. He graduated from the Universi- ty of Minnesota in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mortuary science. CARLTON RAINGE of Blacks- hear, GA died January 6, 2019 at the age of 67. A licensed fu- neral director and embalm- er, he owned and operated Rainge Memorial Chapel, Inc, which he established in 2005. He served his intern- ship at the McDowell’s Fu- neral Home in Griffin, and later became assistant oper- ations manager. In 1993 he moved to South Georgia to operate a family business and had worked for several funeral homes in Baxley, Blackshear and Waycross. A 1984 graduate of the Gup- ton-Jones College of Mortuary Science, he was Mortician of the Year from 2008-2009, a member of the 100 Black Men of South Georgia and is past chairman of the 2 nd District Georgia Funeral Service Practitioners Association. J. ROGER PRIMM of Troy, OH, formerly of Ashland, OH died February 6, 2019 at the age of 80. A retired funeral direc- tor, he owned and operated the former Denbow-Primm Fu- neral Home, now known as the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home and Crematory, for 50 years. A 1961 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, he served on the Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors for more than 10 years, taking his first appointment in 1991 by then gover- nor, George Voinovich. Primm was a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, Ohio Embalmers Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. CORIANN M. MARTIN of Mt. Pleasant, WI died January 30, 2019 at the age of 44. She was a licensed funeral director at Pias- ecki-Althaus Funeral Home for over 18 years. Martin received her degree in mortuary science from the Milwaukee Area Tech- nical College and was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Wisconsin Fu- neral Directors Association. CLINTON HORTON LAN- DRETH of Cliffside, NC died January 27, 2019 at the age of 80. A licensed funeral di- rector and embalmer for over fifty years, he was the for- mer owner of McKinney- Landreth Funeral Home. A graduate of the John A. Gup- ton College of Mortuary Sci- ence, he was a member of the National Funeral Directors As- sociation, North Carolina Funeral Directors Association, South Carolina Funeral Directors Association and The Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. JOBIE L. KIRK of Ardmore, OK died January 27, 2019 at the age of 81. A licensed fu- neral director, embalmer and mortician, he began his ap- prenticeship with the Rags- dale Funeral Home. In 1974 he founded Frontier Funeral Home and the Dawson-Dil- lard Funeral Home in 1975. Kirk was sole proprietor of Kirk-Dawson-Dillard Fu- neral Home until 1988, at which time he founded Kirk Funeral Home. He graduated from the Califor- nia College of Mortuary Science in 1961.
