Volume III of The Cemetery Directory, published by Nomis Publications, Inc., contains listings for over 3,000 active cemeteries throughout the United States. For this edition, active was determined by choosing those cemeteries responding to a survey showing interments in excess of 30 annually. The determination of active may change in future editions based on market response to the cemeteries listed in this edition.
In addition to verifying name, address and phone information, each cemetery also provided information for funeral home or crematory affiliation. For future editions additional information can be requested if market response desires.
