The AmpliVox Digital Signage Lectern has a built-in digital display. NORTHBROOK,IL— AmpliVox Sound Systems has recently introduced a line of acrylic safety shields, as well as the new Home Office School Desk. The acrylic safety shields are used with lecterns, po- diums, tables, and other work surfaces. The new shields are designed to help protect individuals from airborne virus transmission. They are perfect for con- ference rooms, hospitality settings, schools, entry and check-in areas, point-of-sale locations, and more. The clear safety shields are made in the USA of rug- ged ¼” acrylic, and can be secured to a lectern or table surface easily and securely using convenient mount- ing rails and adhesive strips, or clamps. Also available is a portable safety shield that needs no fastening. Am- pliVox can also put a logo on any safety shield. They are available for three different applications: The lectern safety shields are available in three widths – 22”, 27.5”, and 39” – to accommodate most Am- pliVox lecterns, and stand 22” above the lectern. The security/check-in podium safety shield has a pass- through opening at the bottom for handing through documents, money, etc. It stands 22” above the podi- um surface and is 27.5” wide. There are two safety shield models available for meet- ing and hospitality table tops. For protecting individuals seated at ta- bles, a 22” high by 24” wide safety shield attaches easily to a desk or table top to provide a shield between one person and the person sit- ting adjacent. For protecting multiple individuals at a table, the tri- fold safety shield has a 24” x 24” center and pass-through window at the bottom, plus two 12” x 24” wings that enable the unit to stand by itself on a surface without the need for mounting. Hinged to the center shield, the wings can be folded for convenient transport. AmpliVox has also introduced a new Home Office School Desk. The desk is made in the USA at the AmpliVox owned-and-operat- ed wood shop in northeastern Illinois. The sturdy desk is designed specifically for learn-at-home or work-at-home activities, with fea- tures that emphasize mobility, durability, and compact size. The compact 33” H x 21” W x 17” design fits almost anywhere – bedroom, den, kitchen, etc. – yet provides a work surface large enough for tablet, laptop, books and papers. The desk rolls easily on four casters; two of them lock in place for stability. It accom- modates up to an 18” chair or stool (not included) and features an interior ledge for accessory items. Constructed of the same high- pressure laminate and beautiful melamine finish as many Am- pliVox lecterns and multimedia furniture, this desk will stand-up to demanding use, whether temporary or permanent. “AmpliVox makes lecterns, podiums and multimedia furniture in a wide variety of sizes and materials,” said AmpliVox CEO Don Roth . “The new Home Office School Desk is a natural extension of our current product offering, and addresses an immediate need in today’s stay-at-home environment.” AmpliVox has introduced two models of its popular lecterns with built-in digital display screens, giving the user instant, visual support for their message or brand. The lecterns are also great for instructional messages, such as Covid testing sites, security check-in, etc. The 43-inch display has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, with a light sensor that auto-dims the LED backlights. It includes 30 different programming schedules, along with current date and time. A wide variety of input terminals are located on both the bottom and side of the lecterns for easy access. There are two models of lecterns with the built-in screens. The Contemporary Lectern is 49” high and features satin anodized aluminum uprights and a 26.75” wide x 16.75” deep table and base both made of MDF. The Visionary Lectern II is 47” high x 26” wide and is made of scratch-resistant melamine. “These lecterns give presenters a powerful new level of visual sup- port, without always needing an additional AV screen and projec- tor,” said Roth. “And they’re also ideal as a self-contained display unit, for selling, instruction, or important informational messages.” To learn more about AmpliVox Sound Systems’ products, visit www.Ampli.com.
