AUSTIN,TX— CareFlash continues to diversify its partner base beyond healthcare, senior-care, re- habilitation, prosthetic and hospice organizations - announcing new partnerships throughout the fu- neral industry with: Chicago Jewish Funerals, Butler Funeral Homes, Hillcrest Mortuary, Do- nelson Funeral Chapel, Restlawn Funeral Home, Care Cremation, Memory Gardens and Clear- stone Memorial Partners. The partnerships empower these funeral organiza- tions to offer CareFlash’s signature platform, The Car- eopolis, A Metropolis of Love and Empathy. This is an online caring community, created and operated by a family and invited loved ones. Each Careopolis con- tains integrated components and content that enhance the quality and durability in how loved ones engage throughout healing or aging journeys; chronic or cog- CareFlash Empowers Funeral Homes with Empathy & Nostalgia, Celebrating a Memory nitive illness; or in celebrating a loved one’s memory. Each Careop- olis contains: an interactive story- telling tool, collaboration calendar, photo/video-sharing capabilities, blog, 3-D medical animations and much more. “I launchedCareFlash in 2005 af- ter a lengthy caretaking experience surrounding a loved one whose ill- ness resulted in their passing. Car- ing for them required nonstop attention, family updates and or- ganizing support. Loved ones want to engage but don’t know how. Families crave socialization but are lukewarm about all the repet- itive well-wishes and sympathies. Friends keep asking ‘How can we help?’, but engagement remains consistently thin. The uncertain- ty between doctor appointments crushes your optimism and resil- ience. Caretakers need respite but grow weary anticipating it. Much of this carries over, even long after having lost a loved one. CareFlash was created to strengthen engage- ment and empower caretakers and loved ones throughout life’s most challenging journeys,” says Care- Flash founder, Jay Drayer. Adds David Jacobson , found- er, Chicago Jewish Funerals, “This partnership with CareFlash ad- vances our mission and core val- ues. Our profession tends to be high-touch and low-tech and we value CareFlash’s ability to enhance the quality and durability in how loved ones engage - strengthening togetherness and peace-of-mind.” Chris Butler, CEO, But- ler Funeral Homes says, “Care- Flash exemplifies our longstand- ing commitment to innovation. Strengthening togetherness is critical as families navigate los- ing a loved one and celebrat- ing their memory. Quality family care comes first at Butler Funeral Homes and this collaboration fur- ther elevates that commitment.” “In these times of social sepa- ration and challenges traveling and connecting, it is increasingly difficult to engage around loved ones who are ill, aging or griev- ing. The Careopolis extends the priority that our team places on fostering togetherness and peace- of-mind. Loved ones can engage from wherever they are - leveraging connectedness, empathy and nostalgia to enhance outcomes,” added JC Aubry, Regional Vice President, Restlawn Mem- ory Gardens & Funeral Home. “We have worked with CareFlash since May 2021 and been pleasantly surprised by the growing numbers of families adopting and using the Careop- olis tool. Seeing the impressive growth of families and communities using it, we know people find this helpful and even needed,” says Bill Jaehnig, Partner, Memory Gardens Memorial Park & Mortuary. Now into its 17th year, CareFlash has built a long- standing reputation for empowering hundreds of or- ganizations who value the importance of enhancing quality-of-life and peace-of-mind. CareFlash’s part- ner organizations range broadly throughout the acute, post-acute, chronic, cognitive, behavioral, prosthet- ic, hospice/palliative, senior living, payer, home care, faith-based and now funeral industries.
