This 84th annual meeting will be held July 31 – Au- gust 4, 2021, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. This celebration of the death care industry will bring funeral service professionals together from all over the world to learn from the world’s best ed- ucators and suppliers. A week of greatness will give attendees an ex- perience of a lifetime. We are excited to partner with the NFDMA, Inc. Education Commission , Batesville Casket Company , We Fund Funerals and the Academy of Professional Funeral Ser- vice Practice . With their collaboration, we will of- fer 20 hours of continuing education. And the Award goes to… The Annual NFDMA, Inc. Awards Night will be held on Tuesday, August 3, at 7:30 PM. The Funeral Profession on the Horizon The NFDMA will host the 2021 Mortuary Edu- cation Day, The Funeral Profession on the Horizon , on August 4. A complete day has been planned for students, apprentices, ed- ucators, and licensed pro- fessionals. This day, full of excitement and edu- cational offerings will include educational ses- sions (with CEUs provid- ed), a community service project to prepare meals for the hungry, as well as the experience of the convention exhibition hall and NFDMA his- tory museum. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with licensed professionals with a com- mon goal, “Pressing Past the Pandemic; Position- ing for Prosperity.” Mortuary Education Day Registration, valid only for August 4, is com- plimentary for students and apprentices. A valid student ID or apprentice license must be present- ed with your registration documents. Mortuary Education Day Registra- tion is not the same as a Student or Apprentice/ Intern Convention Reg- istration, which gives you access to the entire con- vention. In Loving Memory… We Speak Your Name NFDMA invites attend- ees and their families to the 2021 National Ser- vice of Remembrance on Sunday, August 1. This special celebration of life has been commissioned for the 84th Annual Na- tional Convention and will include moments of reflection for our de- ceased members and friends. The service will be held on Sunday, August 1, at 4:30PM at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Con- vention Center. Please RSVP with your number of attendees.
