Wilbert Funeral Services Promotes Matt
Stewart to Regional Vice President
Matt Stewart
BROADVIEW,IL—
Wilbert
Funeral Services
is pleased
to announce the promotion
of
Matt Stewart
to regional
vice-president for the direct
operations in Oklahoma, Ar-
kansas, Colorado and North
Texas. His responsibilities in-
clude sales and marketing
as well as operational over-
sight for the twelve Wilbert
Funeral Services locations
serving funeral professionals
throughout the region.
Stewart joined
Suhor In-
dustries,
which was recently
merged into Wilbert Funeral
Services, in 2007 in a sales ca-
pacity for the Oklahoma City
location. Stewart advanced to
regional manager for the en-
tire Oklahoma, Arkansas and
Colorado region in 2012.
“Over the past seven years
Matt has earned the respect
of our customers as well as
everyone within the orga-
nization and I know that
he will further advance the
growth of the region,” said
Dennis Welzenbach,
presi-
dent of Wilbert Funeral Ser-
vices.
A licensed funeral direc-
tor and embalmer, Stewart
has been involved in the fu-
neral service industry since
his teenage years working
in a family funeral business.
Stewart graduated from
Dal-
las Institute of Funeral Service
in 1994 and subsequently
served as funeral director and
embalmer at several Oklaho-
ma funeral homes until join-
ing Suhor in 2007.
“The growth of our region
is attributable to the dedi-
cated individuals at our lo-
cations and the confidence
placed in us by our custom-
ers,” Stewart commented.
“While I am privileged to
take on this role, I realize that
success is contingent on the
commitment of our entire
team and I thank them for

Convention
in Atlantic City, NJ. The
Patriot Urn, made from
solid Purple Heart wood,
offers a special piece for the
perfect remembrance. The
Patriot includes the Great
Seal of the United States
of America carved in the
lid and a bronzed medal-
lion in the side panel rep-
resenting the appropriate
military branch. The Inspi-
ration Urn is made of solid
Cherry Wood inlaid with a
Walnut Cross and a relief
carving of praying hands
on its front. The Wilm-
ington Urn is available in
Oak, Cherry, Maple and
Walnut. Carving choices
include a Stepped Cross,
Butonne Cross, Celtic
Cross or Star of David.
