Announces Hurricane Harvey Funeral Directors Relief Fund ZANESVILLE,OH— As the funeral profes- sion’s leading voices, the co-hosts of Fu- neral Nation TV Ryan Thogmartin and Jeff “The Funeral Commander” Harbe- son announce the creation of Hurricane Harvey Funeral Director Relief Fund. The fund is for funeral directors and their families that have suffered loss as a direct re- sult of Hurricane Harvey. “I am personally aware of a funeral director that has been devastated with the loss of their home and I’m certain there are others that need FN help. As a profes- sion, we always take care of others on their worst days, it’s now our responsibility to stand in the gap for our people during this trage- dy,” says Harbeson. The mechanism to collect the donated funds is pro- vided by Treasured Mem- ories in West Virginia, free of any charges or fees. Presi- dent Jimmy Altmeyer and his team have graciously of- fered their platform with no fees to help fellow fu- neral directors. The collect- ed funds will be adminis- tered by the Texas Funeral Directors Association as they are intimately knowledge- able of the situation on the ground. Every dollar will go directly to help funeral di- rectors and their families. “I’d like to personally thank Jamie Meredith of C&J Fi- nancial for his ground work of helping Jeff and I to connect the different participating organizations to get this much needed fund launched,” says Thogmartin.
