Kraft Sussman Funeral & Cremation Services Joins Foundation Partners Group ORLANDO,FL —Foun- dation Partners Group has announced the acqui- sition of Kraft Sussman Funeral & Cremation Services in Las Vegas, NV. The acquisition is the first for Foundation Part- ners in Nevada, where the cremation rate is among the highest in the country. “Kraft Sussman is ahead of the curve in a num- ber of areas,” said Tom Kominsky, Foundation Partners Group chief financial officer. “They recognized early on that consumer preferences have been shifting toward cremation and, like Foundation Partners, they have em- braced this change.” Former owners, Wendy Kraft and Laura Sussman, teamed up in 2009 to open Kraft Sussman Funeral & Crema- tion Services with the belief that exist- ing firms were not meeting the needs of their community. “We saw how oth- er funeral homes operated and knew we could do better, so we built a better model,” Kraft said.
