(PCS) was founded in 1976 by a small group of hearse, limousine, ambulance and flower car enthusiasts to further the cause of preservation, maintenance and restoration of professional vehicles. Since its humble beginnings in 1976, the Society has grown to about 900 members with members in every state in the U.S.A. and many foreign countries. The International Meet is the premiere meeting for the society. The meeting this year will be held in Sturbridge, Massachusetts from June 27 to July 2. This meeting is primarily for members of the Society, but there are a couple of great opportunities for non-members as well. PCS Vintage Car Show on July 2nd The Vintage Car Show will be on Saturday July 2 in Sturbridge, MA. A few years ago, the Meet was in Missouri. Fortunately, that is close to where I live and I was able to attend the car show. It was an incredible display of vintage funeral vehicles and ambulances. I encourage anyone in close proximity to this event who likes vintage vehicles to attend this show. You won’t be disappointed. Please visit www.theprofessionalcarsociety.org for additional information. Parks Superior 70th Anniversary Celebration and Open House to be held during the PCS Meet This event will be on Thursday June 30. There will be music, food, guest speakers, seminars and a car show. Factory representatives will also be there to talk about what is new in coach building. The Parks Family encourages anyone with a vintage hearse or limousine to please bring it to display at their car show. Please visit www.parkssuperior.com for additional information.
