The new merchandise se- lection room is courtesy of Matthews-Aurora Fu- neral Solutions. Representatives from Matthews-Aurora Fu- neral Solutions, Thom- as Pontone, president of funeral solutions, Dave Frye, regional manager, and Mike Lanigan, fu- neral service consultant, traveled to PIMS for the official ceremony. PIMS students, faculty and staff were on hand to observe the ceremony. In addi- tion to remodeling the entire room and provid- ing a casket, casket end- panels, urns, and mate- rials, Matthews-Aurora’s outlay also included a 52 inch smart-TV; digi- tal video recorder; iPad Air; and accompanying digital devices. The tech- nology allows students to perform mock-arrange- ments, record them- selves, and play live feed into the adjoining class- room.
