Missing Since: 1/7/2019 Missing From: Brazil, Indiana Date of Birth: 12/3/2001 Age Now: 18 Yrs Sex: Female Race: White Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Height: 5’1” Weight: 180 lbs Commission Seeks Public Comment as Part of its Review of the Funeral Rule WASHINGTON,DC— The Federal Trade Commission announced on February 4, 2020 that they are seeking public comment on whether to make changes to its Funer- Federal Trade The Federal Trade Commission is seeking responses to a wide range of questions regarding its Funeral Rule benefitted from the Rule; whether the Rule imposes any significant costs on funeral pro- viders; whether changes in technology or the economy require changes to the Rule; wheth- er new unfair or deceptive industry practic- es exist that could be addressed by changes to the Rule; whether providers should be re- quired to post their itemized price lists on- line; and whether itemized price lists should have a standard format to help consumers compare prices between providers and help providers comply with the Rule. The Commission vote to approve the Federal Register notice was 5-0. The notice will be published in the Federal Register. The Funeral Rule, formally known as the Funeral Industry Prac- tices Rule, enacted in 1982, requires funeral providers to give con- sumers itemized price information up front, and to provide ad- ditional information about the price of caskets and burial vaults when discussing or showing those items. He averaged 20 AIDS cases a month back in 1994 and re- fused to turn families away or charge additional fees. Positive word-of-mouth about McKenzie’s patience, approachability and em- pathy with grieving family members spread through- out the community. He committed to being active- ly involved in food drives, donating to AIDS facilities and events, the fight against breast cancer and earmark- ing three percent of the pro- fessional service charges paid by families and donating it to the charity of their choice. Outgrowing the original facility, in 2005 McKenzie Mortuary Services moved to a new 6400 square foot location. Unlike the previ- ous site, this location has an on-site chapel for those who want a private service. Longtime employee Sand- ee Rice, who was a friend before she started helping out at the business over 14 years ago, serves as McKen- zie’s personal assistant.
