Rone Funeral Service

Michael DeStefano,
licensed funeral di-
rector at
Rone Funeral Service,
was awarded the
J.M.
Nolte Scholar Award
in May.
This award is given in honor of the memory of
Ju-
lius M. Nolte,
former dean of the general extension
division at the
University of Minnesota
and is present-
ed by the
University Mortuary Science Education Asso-
ciation.
The recipient of this award is recognized for
personal and academic improvement over his/her col-
lege career; on personal-
ity and initiative; and on
participation in academ-
ic studies and activities
beyond the requirements
for graduation.
Michael has been a part
of the Rone Funeral Ser-
vice family for over 34
years. Michael’s dedica-
tion to the funeral profes-
sion has always been evi-
dent in the compassionate
service he has provided to
many families throughout
the past three decades.
