Job Description:
Wilderness Funeral Homes is looking for a Funeral Director/Embalmer/Mortician to join our team. We are in search of a team player who is self-motivated, hardworking, and works well with families. The Funeral director will perform various tasks alongside the Owner/Funeral director and a great staff. These duties include removal of remains, embalming, holding arrangement conferences, and assisting families with planning and coordinating services.

Wilderness Funeral Homes is located in Chinook, a small but big-hearted community in north eastern Montana. We are a smaller funeral chain with two additional locations in two other Montana communities. We have a lower yearly case count however, we are growing.
Benefits:
• 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom house (utilities and wi-fi included)
• $35,000-$40,000 yearly salary (combined with housing total salary 70,000 a year)

• $3,000 moving/signing bonus with a 2-year contract
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mortuary degree (associates or bachelors)
• Passed the national board exam
• 1 year apprenticeship (following MT state licensing guidelines)
Experience
• 2 years or more experience
