We are searching for person(s) with drive, motivation and passion about serving their families. The responsibilities are comprised of first calls, arranging, directing and embalming. Our funeral home offers a variety of services to include traditional funerals, ship outs, cremation and burials. Participation and volunteering within the community for civic groups and/or organizations is a requirement. Applicants must have a current Funeral Director and Embalmer license or the ability to reciprocate their license to Alaska. To be a strong candidate you would have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. A candidate would possess good communication skills, excellent social skills, a strong background of computers and media are required. You would rotate with other staff with the on-call schedule.
