Alaska Funeral Director/Embalmer Position

We are a private family owned company with several locations in Alaska. We are seeking applicants for a full-time funeral director/embalmer position in Anchorage to be a part of our family. We are searching for person(s) with drive, motivation and passion about serving their families. The responsibilities are comprised of first calls, arranging, directing and embalming. Our funeral home offers a variety of services to include traditional funerals, ship outs, cremation and burials. Participation and volunteering within the community for civic groups and/or organizations is a requirement. Applicants must have a current Funeral Director and Embalmer license or the ability to reciprocate their license to Alaska. To be a strong candidate you would have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. A candidate would possess good communication skills, excellent social skills, a strong background of computers and media are required. You would rotate with other staff with the on-call schedule.
