Assistant Location Manager - Williamsburg, VA

    We are currently seeking a qualified and professional Assistant Location Manager at Nelsen Funeral Home in Williamsburg, VA.
    The Assistant Location Manager must have demonstrated and successful knowledge of operations, marketing, sales, public relations and business development. Critical to the success of this operation are flawless execution standards, combined with a thorough understanding of our area demographics and local clientele. The ideal candidate is ready for the challenge and growth possibilities of this position. You will be expected to assist the Location Manager in directing and leading all Funeral Home personnel and ensure that the facility and equipment are maintained to a high degree of readiness.
    Requirements:
•    Minimum 3 years of experience as a Funeral Director strongly preferred
•    Minimum 1 year management experience strongly preferred
•    Must have a current Funeral Director’s license in this state or have the ability to reciprocate quickly
•    Familiar with state laws
•    Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
•    Ability to be involved in the community
    Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
